Martyna’s research focuses on the integration of ion exchange and membrane filtration processes for the efficient removal of micropollutants from water. During her Humboldt Fellowship at IAMT, she is investigating the application of biomimetic lipid layers on filtration membranes, inspired by biological systems, to improve the selective removal of steroid hormones from water.
