Among various problems in the world, providing safe water and treating wastewater containing different materials has always been one of the main challenges of the researchers throughout the history. Inspiration from nature opens new horizons for the scientists to carry out this mission. The use of biocatalytic membranes could be an effective strategy in order to treat wastewater with micropollutants, a method in which these pollutants biodegrade during water filtration.
